Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X; de-de) AppleWebKit/125.5.6 (KHTML, like Gecko) Safari/125.12
Build Identifier: all platform firefox releases <= 2.0 (current version as of writing)
when selecting "Clear private data", default options are selected each time (it does not offer to remember my individual previous choice, nor un/check-all buttons.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. select menu > tools > "Clear private data"
2. then you see the same options checked each time
Actual Results:
you see the same options checked each time
Expected Results:
* remember my individual choice from last time.
* even better and more flexible:
** offer a check-all and uncheck-all button
** and a togglebox for "remember last choice"

It will only remember it if you open the dialog box form Tools->Options->Privacy. If you open it from Tools, the changes are one-time only.

p.s.: one note for macintosh users:
way1: menu > tools > clear private data (choice can be altered on each call)
way2: menu > firefox > preferences > privacy > private data (here you set the default behaviour)
and for windows this is the correct terminology:
way1: menu > tools > clear private data (choice can be altered on each call)
way2: menu > tools > options > privacy > private data (here you set the default behaviour)
