Bug 164707 added an "Extra" tab to the Certificate Manager to show certificates that didn't fit into any category. When doing the UI-R for that one I realized that a tabbed interface to categorizing certificates wasn't the best approach, as opposed to a flat list with 1..n show/hide controls for the various certificate types.
Bob Lord mentioned that we should really take the time to understand why users are going into the Certificate Manager, what the primary tasks are that we're trying to support and how the UI can be improved for those tasks.
