Take any build since at least november 1st 2006 (build october 20th is OK, I didn't test all of them in between)
on Win 2000 with all latest system updates

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Go to any https URL or get email from POP3 account with TLS enabled + Secure option
2. Instant crash, no TalkBack information being collected, even when manually enabled and started, just user.dmp

Actual Results:
topcrash, immediate crash

Expected Results:
Should open the page or collect emails

Tested on a new blank profile with the same behavior

Tested builds
november 1st
november 11th
november 12th
november 13th
november 14th
november 15th

october 20th is working fine

Summary: Accessing SSL or TLS Secure POP authentification crashes SeaMonkey nightly builds → Accessing SSL URL / HTTPS or TLS Secure POP authentification crashes SeaMonkey nightly builds
no crash with Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; fr-FR; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/**20061025** SeaMonkey/1.5a
Might be dupe of Bug 330271, the Windows SeaMonkey trunk build switched from VC6 to VC8 on 1st of November.
Looks similar, but bug 330271 was filled in March 2006 ! (already on VC8 ??)

This one extends the issue to secure POP3 connections
Feel free to conclude
Bug 330271 was filed about Firefox which switched to VC8 earlier.
Confirming for now, this bug here can be re-checked when the other bug is resolved.
