Details

From the wiki:
--> Keep the statistics -- tweak a bit to make clearer. For instance, in sent-mail stats, have the first be Total Mail Sent with sub-stats for New Mail Generated, Reply-to, Forwarded, Redirected, Sent Again, etc.

Should Penelope get a Statistics feature like Eudora? Vote for this bug if you think so.
Yes, statistics are useful for tracking message levels and spam levels. Not critical, but useful to look at from time to time.
Yes. It's a Eudora feature so it should to be added to Penelope. I don not think it is important enough that it has to be in v1.0, but it would be nice to have. I voted for this feature.

FYI There is "extension for getting mail statistics in Mozilla Thunderbird" called tbStats, might be worth to have a look at it.

Unfortunately it is not compatible with Thunderbird 2.x...

Probably just a matter of editing the RDF, but.....
I use this in eudora for seeing how my spam has been over years, etc..

a deeper level would be great, i.e. what was then marked as junk etc..

I would hate to loose my data over the past 4 years tho,m can it import my stats from that far back??

Statistics are definitely an awesome feature of eudora; I use them regularely to graphically see how my flux of email evolves... I definitely hope they get implemented in penelope
