Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7.13) Gecko/20060414
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7.13) Gecko/20060414
When I open Help, various functions are disabled. For example, I can't type into this box if the Help menu is showing. I also can't close a window or create a new one.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Choose "Help Contents"
2. Try to open or close a window.
3.
Actual Results:
"File" stays illuminated as if it's trying to open a new window, but nothing happens. If I try to type into this box, I get the audio error thumps with some but not all keystrokes.
Expected Results:
That's pretty obvious.

Jeff, in Seamonkey 1.1 (this is also fixed in SeaMonkey 1.1a and 1.1b) you will be able to choose to not having the Help window "on top" - moving focus to the other window will then re-enabling the main menubar. Note that the reason why you have to move focus to the browser/mail/composer window is bug 21296.
Anyway, to disable the "Always on Top" behaviour in SeaMonkey 1.1a, 1.1b and the forthcoming SeaMonkey 1.1 (see also bug 351543):
Open Help and Ctr-click (or right-click if you have a two-button mouse) in the content area, then just uncheck the (checked) "Always on Top" menuitem.
Note that there's no development on the old Mozilla suite anymore, so if you like the suite approach you should really upgrade to SeaMonkey - see http://www.mozilla.org/projects/seamonkey/ for more info.
