RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 169888

Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; SV1; .NET CLR 1.1.4322) Build Identifier: version 1.5.0.8 (20061025) It would be nice to add a feature to the Options/Prefs to allow Thunderbird start page to be set to "current selected node" . By default , Thunderbird starts up pointing to the account root ( chrome://messenger/content/start.xhtml ) but it would be nice if the Inbox was the currently selected folder and I could just click a button that would make the Inbox the default at startup. Reproducible: Always
The Start Page appears in the Message pane; it's unrelated to the selection in the Folder pane. The initial selection in the folder pane is either the default Inbox, if you check mail on startup, or (going by memory here) the default account otherwise. Are you asking for the equivalent of bug 169888? Or bug 276906?
