The site icon in the location bar is 1px taller than the corresponding icon on the tab. The width, however, remains the same.

This can be viewed with just a blank tab (screenshot to follow). The globe icon in the location bar is quite obviously distorted.

This regression occurred between the 20061121 and 20061122 builds, presumably with Cairo.

I'm surprised I can't find a report already. The closest I can find is bug 363125, but that related to an extremely distorted case that occurred more recently. This bug existed before and after that one.

The patch in bug 362428 actually fixes this.
The oversized line-height makes the url bar grow a little and results in that distorted icon.
Depends on: 362428

Cool. Thanks for letting me know. I won't bother with the screenshot now :)

Wayne,
did the patch for bug 362428 fixes this on your side ? (it landed on 2006-12-13).
