The "Manage Subscription" and "Properties" dialogs for RSS feeds are overlapping and should be unified into some sort of "Feed Properties" box.

Take a look at the Manage Subscription box. It includes information about the feed _and_ an option: to display it as a web page, or not? The Feed Properties box _also_ has options in it, and more of them: retention policies and so on. Ideally, right-clicking on a feed would give a link to Properties, which would simply be that feed's page in the Manage Subscription box. The Manage Subscription box (or whatever it would be named) would have all of the options in one place so users wouldn't go insane trying to set the feed to keep their data for a month and display the excerpts only.

This is not a duplicate of bug 230837. That bug concerns moving Subscriptions into the Account manager, not merging Subscriptions and Properties.

Oh, I see.  "Properties" on an account is the same thing as the Account Settings, but you're talking about the folders under the feed.

"Properties" on a folder in RSS should *not* be merged with Manage Subscriptions.  "Properties" is always limited in scope to the item being examined; the Manage Subscriptions dialog deals with all the feeds.  Note that one folder can have more than one feed, too; the Summary/Web Page option is feed-specific, not folder specific.
