After selecting the unread message view from the 
View > Messages > Unread 
menu then changing back to all messages, the menu's checkmarks don't update -- both remain checked.  (will attach screenshot).  

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open thunderbird v2 beta 1 
2. Choose mail account (may only happen with imap account (i don't have a POP account to test)
3. Choose menu: View > Messages > Unread 
4. Choose menu: View > Messages > All
5. View menu: View > Messages > 


Actual Results:  
both Unread and All will be checked

Expected Results:  
only All should be still checked.

It's simple enough even to ask for branch approval. 
Patch is against 1.8 branch, but should apply to trunk as well.

No, bug 363831 hasn't landed on branch yet, if that's what you mean. I hope to get word from the Council tonight, though.

verified fixed on the 1.8 branch using the Tbird cand build, version 2.0.0.0 (20070326). I verified using an Intel Mac running 10.4.9. Checking and unchecking yields expected results. Adding branch verified keyword.
