Details

The header on bmo used to display the Bugzilla version. It doesn't do that anymore. (This is useful when filing bugzilla bugs about the version currently in use on bmo)
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/config.cgi gives you the version number if this isn't added back.
It's on the index page. That's fine with me. It doesn't need to be EVERYWHERE. :)

Why does that say version 2.23.3+ instead of 3.something?

Originally, we were going to release 2.24, and finally decided that there was enough improvement and new features to call it 3.0. So the numbering will be: 2.23.3 -> (2.23.4) -> 3.0 RC1 -> (3.0 RC2) -> 3.0 -> 3.0.1 -> 3.0.2 ...
