365884 - Master Password prompted for, but it was never set

Will not save password for yahoo mail, or any of my other sites that require signin - bank, client sites, etc.  When you try to enter this, it will ask for the master password for the software security device.  I did not set this???  And cannot make it go away -- even through the preferences/security section.  have only had the computer 1 week, and never saved anything behind this password which I dont' know, so obviously I don't care if it all goes away... but I can't even change/reset the password.  

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. site requires sign on
2. and I ask to remember me
3.
Actual Results:  
popup window asking for the master password for the software security device.  If you do not enter it, it will allow you on the site (with password) but not save the site info for next visit.  

Expected Results:  
Save the info for future visits

Heather, have you been able to solve your problem?

If not, please try updating to Firefox 2.0.0.4.

You could also try running firefox with a new profile or in safe mode.  If you need help with this, please comment on this bug.

If there is no response in a week, this bug will be resolved as WORKSFORME.
