There are currently bunch of open bugs dealing with various Master Password usage issues. Some are probably dupes, some are bugs, and others are deeper issues requiring rethinking how master passwords are currently used and implemented. I'm opening this bug to help get a handle on the situation.
I was recently reminded of the bug that I submitted (#370944) and found that it really didn't happen anymore, after looking through my mind. I then marked it as invalid. Just to let you know.
At least one of these problems is a case where the Master Password is not asked when it is needed.

This meta bug has served its purpose, the glut of various master password bugs has since been sorted through and reduced to a manageable level.
