Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; pl; rv:1.8.1.1) Gecko/20061208 Firefox/2.0.0.1 Build Identifier: Thunderbird2 beta 2 (20070116) A message filter, which uses non-standard custom header entries (e.g. X-Spam-Level) does not work at all. Filtering log shows nothing. Other filters, which are next on the filtering list (and which use standard header entries) work. Error console shows nothing. I use Thunderbird with IMAP account (with SSL). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create filter adding a new custom header value (or using previously added one). Action is not important. 2. Go to a folder containing messages which apply to defined filter rules. 3. Execute filtering in current folder. Actual Results: Messages are not moved/starred/etc. Expected Results: Messages should be treated as defined in message filter.

Is it for sure? Bug 184490 was submitted over 4 years ago while filters with IMAP work fine with Thunderbird 1.5 Can you please verify it?

Re-read it, and i think it's likely a dupe. Though yes, something regressed 1.5 -> 2.0b2. (That bug is a bit vague on how it has/hasn't worked during the bug's life time - main point being it never worked very well.) Feel free to reopen if you feel it's not a dupe.
