User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; ja; rv:1.8.0.9) Gecko/20070126 Ubuntu/dapper-security Firefox/1.5.0.9 Build Identifier: Thunderbird version 2 beta 2 (20070116) When I forward email as attachment, Thunderbird forwards broken mail as attachment, if "mail.file_attach_binary" is "true". If the original mail has no attachment, the attachment of the forwarded mail is wrongly encoded. If the original has any attachment, the size of the attachment forwarded mail becomes just zero. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open "about:config" window. (Choose "Tools" -> "Options" -> "Advanced" -> "General" -> "Config Editor".) 2. Change the value of "mail.file_attach_binary" to "true." 3. Close "about:config." 4. Receive a message. 5. Select the message, and choose "Message" -> "Forward As" -> "Attachment" from the menubar. 6. Input my e-mail address to the "To:" field. 7. Click "Send" button. Actual Results: The received mail has broken attachment. Expected Results: The received mail has the original mail as attachment. This problem doesn't depend on the value of "mail.strictly_mime.parm_folding".
This problem also appear on Thunderbird 1.5.0.9.
