Details

I've been upgrading reasonably regularly to the latest nightly beta builds of 2.0
On upgrading to the 20070220 build, when restarting, I was given the following message:
Your data isn't compatible with this version of Thunderbird
The data in your profile was updated by a newer version of Thunderbird, and continuing will probably cause the information to be lost or corrupted. Thunderbird will now quit.
Having searched in lxr, this is apparently a Calendar (lightning bug):
http://lxr.mozilla.org/mozilla/source/calendar/locales/en-US/chrome/calendar/calendar.properties#98

I had forgotten to mention that on upgrade the auto-updater had found Lightning 0.3.1 and upgraded - I have used a test version of Lightning from the newer series which could have caused this.

Attempting to switch product and category accordingly...

Have fixed my problem by removing storage.sdb (I have kept a backup).
This error message is confusing though - it gives no indication that this is related to calendar data. There is also no simple way for the user to recover, and it prevents access to the entire application - not so much of a problem for Sunbird, a bigger problem for Thunderbird + Lightning!
This is a known issue, you probably downgraded from 0.4a1 to 0.3.1:

If you have to use the new TZ's I think it would be best to export the data to an ics of csv first, the uninstall 0.4a1, install 0.3.1 and use a new profile or move the existing profile somewhere else. After this you can re-import the data in the new profile. Or you can wait for the next nightly of 0.4a1 (which will be out in the next few days).
