The DLL ender.dll has been obsoleted in favor of editor.dll. However, ender.dll is still included in the contents of mozilla-win32-talkback.zip (at least for 2000-04-25-09-M16) The timestamp on ender.dll in this .zip is Apr 13 2000. (this leads to an error in the console: nsNativeComponentLoader: SelfRegisterDll(C:\TEMP\ASDF\BIN\components\ender.dll) Load FAILED with error: error 31)

For searching purposes this also leads to a popup on at least winNT for the first time you run: "The procedure entry point ?ReplaceChar@nsString@@QAEAAV1@PBDG@Z could not be located in the dynamic link library xpcom.dll."
mjudge, is this true? Can you remove the build rules for ender.dll from the makefile.win?
Does anyone know where the makefile.win in question is? Somewhere in the Windows commercial build system?

Given that dp and rayw are using up their time to puzzle this out (bug #37792) it would be useful to clean this up soon. Marking dogfood (not because it's real dogfood, but because this should get done before the next bug report is filed).

Putting on [nsbeta2+][6/01] radar. This work must be done by 06/01 or we may pull this for PR2.

definitely totally fixed, and stuff (no more cruft).

Adding keyword to bugs which already show a nsbeta2 triage value in the status whiteboard so the queries don't get screwed up.
