Details

I've been getting this error message for a little while now. After a clean install (delete mozregistry.dat movversion.dat and Users50 directory), when I launch mozilla the first time: "The procedure entry point ?ReplaceChar@nsString@@QAEAAV1@PBDG@Z could not be located in the dynamic link library xpcom.dll." This doesn't happen on the second launch. I'm currently using winNT build 2000042608.
can XPCOM folks tell me if this looks like yours?

Clean install : delete your old program directory. You might have stale dlls that are causing this.
This is actually a duplicate of bug #37125. The root cause is that the -talkback.zip mozilla nightlies still include an obsolete DLL. This leads to the alert thrown with this message on WinNT during the initial xpcom crawl through the components directory. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 37125 ***
