The PageUp and PageDown keys do not work.
They only way to get them working is to open a window within Firefox, such as the Options box or the Open File dialogue (any will do), and then close it again.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Surf to any site that requires vertical scrolling.
Actual Results:  
The PageUp and PageDown keys don't work.

This only occurs in version 2.0.0.2.

That page works fine for me using a clean profile. Have you tried Firefox's safe mode ? See

Same problem here - only fix is to open & close a dialog window. I tried starting in Safe mode, but it still doesn't work.

I could reproduce this problem on Linux (Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.8.1.3) Gecko/20070324 Firefox/2.0.0.3). To reproduce: 

- start firefox in safe mode
- visit http://slashdot.org/
- try [Page down]. It doesn't work.
- Press ^S, and immediately cancel the dialog
- try [Page down] again: Now it works.

How, specifically, are you guys starting Firefox? By going to Start > Internet? By clicking on a desktop shortcut for Firefox, etc.? And is this bug dependent on the way that you start Firefox?

I usually start it from the Quick Launcher, but I've also used the Start Menu & run it in Safe mode - even wiped my who;e profile & reinstalled FF - and it happens every time, so I don't think it has anything particularly to do with the way you start it. Started in 2.0.0.2, IIRC, and still happends in 2.0.0.3

I've noticed this issue since the last update and I am running this version on OSX:

home/end works fine page up/down not at all

Please see bug 373024, it looks very similar. As you can see from my comment there, this appears to be solved in Fx 2.0.0.4 RC1. I can only test on linux, so maybe some windows/mac users can also test RC1?

PageUp, PageDown, End and Home keys does not work now with release 3.6.8:

http://2010dev.wordpress.com/ for example. http://www.kop.is/ both worked before the upgrade.
