37549 - Flag message should only flag one message at a time

Win32 (2000-04-28-09 M16)
Mac (2000-04-28-08 M16)
Steps:
1.  From the Inbox folder, click on the Thread icon to thread the messages
2.  Expand a thread to see its child threads
3.  Select a parent thread, click on the Flag column or use Message|Mark|Flag

Actual result: Flag icons appears in the parent thread and its first level 
child.  Collapse and expand the thread again, the flag icon disappears from the 
child thread. Only the parent flag stays.

Expected result:  In the first place, it should only flag one message at a time

This occurs on all three platforms.

And it ocurrs in both POP and IMAP accounts.

this is a dup.  I recognize the symptoms aren't the same but I'm sure it's the 
same thing causing it.
