RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 247116

People

(Reporter: mhandschuh, Unassigned)

Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.8.1.3) Gecko/20070309 Firefox/2.0.0.3
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.8.1.3) Gecko/20070309 Firefox/2.0.0.3

After opening a new tab while one tab (haven't had successful test with multiple tabs already opened) is opened, if you open up the DOM Inspector, then close it, then go back to the first tab... everything between the tabs and the status bar at bottom will bounce up and down...continuously.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Mozilla, can be any page.
2. ctrl T for new tab, can even change page
3. Open DOM Inspector
4. Close DOM Inspector
5. Go back to the first tab, it's bouncing up and down.
Actual Results:
Displayed the page correctly but the entire application south of the tabs bounces up and down (including scroll bar, excluding the status bar at extreme bottom).

Expected Results:
Displayed the page normally.

I just installed and set up this new computer.

It is 64-bit OS.
I can't reproduce this on Windows XP (32-bit) with Firefox 2.0.0.3.

Marcia, Tomcat: Have either of you seen anything like this on Vista? Is there a 64-bit machine we can test this on?
dupe of bug 247116?
Yeah, I just didn't know of that bug when I triaged this one. :)
