Details
Since the whole Sandbox model revolves around feedback:
* Trackback should be implemented for Addon's and should work regardless of sandboxedness.
* Pingback would be nice, but less useful.

You mean - it should accept Trackback/Pingback if somebody links to the add-on in a blog post? Last I checked trackback spam was an unsolved problem, did that change?
Fixing severity and component for this bug.

Yes. I mean accepting Trackback/Pingback if someone links to the add-on.
The benefit for this is rather high. It helps gather the feedback for the addon in one place, the place where it comes from.
In my case, I just found some excellent feedback for my extension by searching for it. But better would have been if it had automatically gone into addons.
Suggestion:
Queue up trackbacks and let the developer mark it allow, deny or spam.
Once a site is marked spam N times, then auto-spam it in the future.
The reviewers would not have to do any extra work, yet they'd have a lot more feedback to make their decisions.
Ciao!

This is asking for a lot of spam, for limited use. We're not going to do this.
