Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; de; rv:1.8.1) Gecko/20061010 Firefox/2.0 Build Identifier: 1.5.0.10 (20070306) Thunderbird should provide a help for people who use spell checking in different languages: You always have to change the language in the toolbar if you used another language the last time you wrote an email. But usually you use always the same language when you write to the same person. So why shouldn't Thunderbird keep track of languages used for different email addresses and select the appropiate one if you write another time to that same person? A problem might occur if you send mails to more than one recipient whom you write in more than one language. In this case, Thunderbird should just keep spellchecking in one of these languages (or if possible in all of them, but I don't know if this is always useful). Tell me what you think - I hope I did not request something that is already implemented. I checked in the feature list of Thunderbird 2.0 but couldn't find anything - neither an extension that would deal with this. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
This should be covered by bug 69687 (a lot of other bugs like yours also got duped there)
