User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.11) Gecko/20070312 Firefox/1.5.0.11
Build Identifier: Thunderbird 1.5.0.10

I'm sorry, this is a duplicate of reported bugs 346651 and 365954. I've looked everywhere for the fix - which reportedly there is one. I e-mailed Scott MacGregor - the person assigned to the problem - on 4/17/07 and have not received an answer.

The problem is I want to uninstall Thunderbird, but every time I go to add/remove and click on uninstall it freezes add/remove and does nothing. I am able to restart the computer and clear the add/remove freeze. I've updated Thunderbird from 1.5.0.9 to 1.5.0.10 and still can not uninstall the software.

I need a way to get Thunderbird off my computer.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open Add/Remove
2.locate Mozilla Thunderbird and click on remove
3.Add/Remove freezes and nothing happens
Actual Results:
Nothing happened. Add/Removed froze. I could access things outside Add/Remove, but could do nothing in Add/Remove. I had to restart to clear the frozen add/remove.

Expected Results:
Uninstalled the software.

Please, I really need a solution for removing Thunderbird. Thanks for your efforts!
No need for a new bug. There is no known fix, thats why that bug is still open. Nobody knows why it occurs yet. (One thing to try may be to get into windows safe mode and try uninstalling then.)
