Cmd-. (Command-dot) doesn't stop page loading and other actions (form 
submission, whatever)

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
Start loading a page that'll take a while. Clock Cmd-. and notice that...

Actual Results:  ...nothing happens

Expected Results:  Page loading, form submission or other action should stop, 
instantly. (Some other areas where this should work: cease playing any 
background music, stop GIF animation, stop animated plugin, stop load of
plugin, stop load of plugin content, end activity by a script, etc.)

I'm guessing this is a key binding issue, so I'm filing it here, and it should 
be linked as a duplicate to Bug 22529: "Chris, this is a place holder to make 
sure we get all the menu, dialog, and other special keyboard shortcuts working.  
Please file all other exisiting and new broken keyboard shortcut bugs as a 
duplicate of this bug.  Let's just track the whole mess here [Bug 22529]."  
Seems wierd that this one's not already here, but I didn't see it. <puzzled>  
Maybe it's in another section?  I picked XPApps because 22529 was filed there.
