User-Agent: Opera/9.20 (Windows NT 5.1; U; sv) Build Identifier: Thunderbird 2.0.0.0 (20060326) I can't move emails between Inbox, Drafts, Sent and subfolders to these more than a few times. Then this function is locked. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install Thunderbird 2. Create an email account 3. Create a message 4. Close the message window choosing to save it to Drafts 5. Open the Drafts folder 6. Select your newly created message 7. Press the key "Context menu" and choose Move to -> Local folders -> Inbox 8. Open the Inbox folder 9. Select the message 10. Press the key "Context menu" and choose Move to -> Local folders -> Drafts 11. Repeat step 5-10 until it gets locked Actual Results: The function gets disabled. Expected Results: It should have kept this function working. Same problem on Linux with earlier versions of Thunderbird.
Version: unspecified → 2.0
(In reply to comment #0) > 11. Repeat step 5-10 until it gets locked >(snip) > Actual Results: The function gets disabled. What do you mean by "locked" and "disabled"? What phenomenon? What operation is unable to execute? Is the problem able to recreate repeatedly? If you install extensions, does problem occur even when Safe-Mode of Tb?
Forgot important question... POP3? Or IMAP? If POP3, Global Inbox? During your operations, is automatic mail check/filtering/Junk detection done?
POP3, Global Inbox. Are mail check, filtering and junk detection default operations? If so: yes; otherwise: no.
How is work going? Have you been able to locate the problem?
Can't reproduce with 2.0.0.12.

Magnus unfortunately hasn't responded here or to email. I still wonder if it's gone for him, even though Nikolay can't repro.
