Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9a5pre) Gecko/20070501 Minefield/3.0a5pre Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9a5pre) Gecko/20070501 Minefield/3.0a5pre I installed the latest nightly Minefield with no extensions installed and went to install my extension in it. The "Installation" tab appeared and the extension's status lists "Restart to complete the installation", but the "Restart Minefield" button is disabled and cannot be pressed. If I select a different tab (Extensions or Themes) and go back to the "Installation" tab, the "Restart Minefield" button is now enabled and can be pressed. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install extension Actual Results: Restart button disabled Expected Results: Restart button should be enabled Workaround: Select extensions tab and go back to installation tab to enable restart button.
What extension were you installing?
I've tried all 3 extension I own or maintain and the results are the same: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2324 https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1264 https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/4346 Of possible interest is that the max firefox version in install.rdf file in the xpi file of those extensions is actually less than 3.0a5. It's 3.0a4 for two of them and 3.0a2 for one. The extension's still install so I don't know if that has anything to do with it or not. The extensions will install, it is just that the option to restart is grayed out. I'm pretty sure this used to work as recently as the 04/11/07 build (which is the last one I used), but that was a 3.0a4 build.
