User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de; rv:1.8.1.3) Gecko/20070309 Firefox/2.0.0.3 Build Identifier: Thunderbird 2.0.0.0 After the installation of OpenOffice.org, the Lucida Console font is screwed up. See attached screenshot. Message should be shown (same happening for editing) in Lucida Console, but it isn't. All other applications don't seem to have these woes. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. Close all applications. 2. Install OpenOffice.org > 2.0.1 3. Open message, when font is set to Lucida Console. Actual Results: Font is screwed up, only a few characters are shown, then message is cut off. Expected Results: Normal display.
Forgot to add, that after a reboot, all is fine again, until you install or upgrade OOo. Then have to reboot again.
if the font looks OK in other apps the question still is, what is *OO* doing? a) what if anything is changing in TB options - open about:config and type in "font" to bring up all the font options, record which are in bold (these have non-default values). then after OO upgrade/install list them again and find out what changed. tools>options>advanced>... b) have you looked at or filed an OO bug? c) did you see this problem prior to thunderbird v2?

Reporter, does this still occur in the latest 2.0.0.x / trunk nightlies? (please answer comment #3 as well)
