I often drag links in mails from Thunderbird to firefox because I use different profiles and I want to make sure that the link is opened in the right one.

When I drag a link to the urlbar, the tabbar or the content area in firefox the link url is inserted twice.

Using Thunderbird 2.0.0.4pre 20070507

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a bugzilla mail in Thunderbird
2. Open Firefox
3. Drag the buglink (for example https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=373179) to firefox and drop it in the urlbar or tabbar.
Actual Results:  
Firefox opens https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=373179https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=373179 resulting in a error message

Expected Results:  
Firefox should load https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=373179

I am not able to determine if this is a problem in Thunderbird or in Firefox because dragging the link to Opera or Notepad does not word for some reason. So I can not test if Thunderbird clones the link or Firefox. Dragging Links from other apps to Firefox works fine.

I could only reproduce it with an older Thunderbird trunk version but not anymore with the latest. I downloaded it here: ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/thunderbird/nightly/latest-trunk

When I the latest build from ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/thunderbird/nightly/latest-mozilla1.8 the error occurs.

Builds from ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/thunderbird/nightly/latest-trunk work fine.
