Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8.1) Gecko/20061010 Firefox/2.0
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8.1) Gecko/20061010 Firefox/2.0
With a multiple monitor configuration, contextual menus appear only on the primary monitor (where the menu has been located). When activating a contextual menu on a browser on a secondary monitor, whether a page, toolbar or tab context menu, the menu will be restricted to the bounds of the primary monitor. The contextual menu appears at the correct vertical coordinate, but at the edge nearest the secondary monitor regardless of where the secondary monitor is placed in arrangement (e.g. if the secondary monitor is arranged to the left of the primary, the context menu appears at the left edge of the primary).
The menu may be usable by mousing to it. However, menus may not appear or be truncated if the vertical location or length of the menu is beyond the primary monitor's boundaries.
Summary: Contextual menus appear at correct vertical coordinate, but are restricted to the primary monitor's horizontal boundaries in multiple monitor (non-mirroring) configurations.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Connect second monitor and arrange location to side of primary in sys display prefs.
2. Place browser window on monitor that does not have the menu bar.
3. Activate any Firefox contextual menu.
Actual Results:
Menu appears on wrong monitor, dissociated from browser.
Expected Results:
Menu should appear at the cursor.
