Hi there - I've had several requests to set up a news group for events -- to share the event pipeline, gather opinions, etc. Can someone set up up for me? We currently have the alias: events@mozilla.com for simply receiving submissions. Thanks!

Sure. How about mozilla.events? It's general enough that I think the top level is sufficient. Is "events" a general enough term to cover all the sorts of meetings and gatherings we might want to have? Gerv

This (and several other requests) will be getting submitted later tonight.
Mailing list has been created and moderator information has been mailed to Mary. The list is currently hidden from the listinfo page, it will be made visible as soon as the newsgroup shows up on news.mozilla.org. newgroup request has been submitted to Giganews and Google.

Wow, Google's first this time. :) -----8<----- done. Our admin also noted that this list: http://www.mozilla.org/community/newsgroups.txt Seems out of date, or at least doesn't match our list at all. It may be a couple hours before the groups are on the website. -----8<-----
