User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; it-IT; rv:1.8.1.3) Gecko/20070309 Firefox/2.0.0.3 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; it-IT; rv:1.8.1.3) Gecko/20070309 Firefox/2.0.0.3 Firefox hangs if I try to have a print or a print-preview of this page: http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prima_guerra_mondiale In my case, it just hangs, but I know other people that gets a crash. We have made some tests and we have found that the problem happens with: - Firefox 2.0.0.3 on Linux, Windows XP, Windows ME - Seamonkey 1.1 on Mac OSX Hanging/crashing happens also if you save the page on your disk (of course not just HTML, but the complete webpage) and try to open it. Maybe the problem is related to the TABLE rendering, but I am not sure. Notice that some people gets a hanging/crash also in this similar webpage http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rivoluzione_francese but personally I can't reproduce the bug in this case. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go in the URL above 2. click on Print or Print preview Actual Results: Firefox hangs or crashes Expected Results: Firefox should show the print preview or print the webpage
SM 1.1.2, Win XP: both pages in print preview will bring CPU utilization to 97-99%, with memory occupation raising 200kB/sec circa. When physical memory is exhausted, the system will start to swap in an endless loop. SM 1.5a/2.0a1pre, linux: trunk code seems immune to this bug, since both pages in print preview show up with no problem at all.
