when I do a search for a string to find a mail I have to do the search in all account mailboxes I have. The problem is I don't always know in which mailbox I received or stored the specific mail. I would like to be able to do a search in all account mailboxes at once.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.enter search string in search box
2.repeat for every account mailbox
3.
Actual Results:
only result of the current account mailbox is given
Expected Results:
I would like to have the results of all mailboxes

The problem is that different account types searching have different capabilities.
Status: UNCONFIRMED → RESOLVED

Resolution: --- → DUPLICATE
How can this be a duplicate of bug 131438? That bug is for Mozilla Application Suite, but this bug is for Thunderbird.
If there is any distinction, please re-open.
Otherwise can someone amend both Product/Component for each to make sense of the closure?
