One might want the option to have it reset to a default search engine whenever one restarts Firefox. This way, when one changes the search engine to something specific (dictionary or IMDB), it is changed back to the default (e.g. Google). This should be an option, as understandably, some would like it to rememebr the last search engine selected. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Change search engine to something specific like Dictionary search 2. Exit Firefox 3. Restart Firefox 4. Changed search engine is still selected 5. Forget that it's changed, and type in a search term and get results that one doesn't want

Summary: [RFE] Option for search toolbar should reset to default search engine when starting Firefox → Option to reset search bar engine to default when starting Firefox
Sound more or less like a duplication of bug 356332, esp. given that the reporter is concerned about Dictionary search engines.
We no longer have the concept of engine switching via the search bar.
