The problem, at least as seen from the installer (I removed thunderbird and attempted to reinstall due to the updater problems), is that there are \r\n characters in a file name. This is illegal, I believe, on every system.

1. Try to install or update
Actual Results:
An error screen (see the screen shot)
Expected Results:
Should work fine.
I love Thunderbird. Please, fix this.
