User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.4) Gecko/20070515 Firefox/2.0.0.4 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.4) Gecko/20070515 Firefox/2.0.0.4 I would really like to able to assign an icons to bookmark folders. I am a web developer. I have many folders in my bookmarks menu, one for each website I work on. It would be great to be able to easily distinguish these folders by assigning each an icon - probably one of the favicons from a bookmarked page within the folder. Reproducible: Always
I am not sure we should do this in the core of firefox, but here's something that might be useful for an add on developer: create a default annotation for an override favicon for a given item id. then, an add on developer could create something to use the add on and it would "just work" in the UI, as our code would check for the override. as a bonus, I think we might need something like this to fix bug #380362 dietrich, what do you think?
