The blue bar in the header is a mixture of a background image and some other
images. The background image is being tiled into other table rows and columns.
Overlapped images sometimes dissappear when shading the window or scrolling, but
seem to reappear at random.

Linux build ID 2000050811, seeing the problem, marking confirmed.
I understand bryner and Pavlov are working on the relevant image tiling code,
hopefully that will fix this too.

I'm seeing gaps (instead of overlap) that is causing layout problems.
Buster, in the simple attachment, each of the blocks (in a table cell) contain
an image and is reporting too large of a desired and max element height.

I believe the original bug was fixed. justin@aspect.net, can you confirm this?
karnaze, the gap thingy is bug 33530.

Whoops, that was another gap thingy... (between tables, with <br clear="all">)
Anyway, the original bug: "on linux, background image in a table is tiled
outside the cell", has been fixed. The "gap because of height of cells with
images being reported incorrectly" should really be in its own bug (and take the
dupe and dependancy with it).

I agree with Peter - the original bug here was the background painting outside
of where it should. This bug was fixed by the new linux background tiling code
(I saw the same effect on some other sites and it fixed it there too).
karnaze or buster -- can you file the incorrect cell heights as a separate bug?
Thanks. Marking this bug fixed.
