Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.8.1.4) Gecko/20070515 Firefox/2.0.0.4 Build Identifier: version 2.0.0.4 (20070604) Replacing 1.5.0.12. with 2.0.0.4 caused an existing message folder ("!Div.Firmen etc.") to be somehow renamed in the message database to "!Div.Firmen etc55d45fb6" and an empty entry was created with the original name. In the user interface two entries existed with an identical name but neither one displayed the expected, old content. The mails actually still existed in the mail database file, which got renamed by the program. The mails could be retrieved after manually altering the respective names of the mail folder and of the mail database. A normal user, however, might not be able to accomplish this and most likely will think having lost data unrecoverably. Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install 1.5.0.12 and start the app 2. create a folder with a name ending with a period (".") 3. copy some mails to the created folder 4. terminate app and replace the program with 2.0.0.4 5. start app and check, if: a) the mails still can be found b) the app displays a double entry as named previously
