User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.1.4) Gecko/20061201 Firefox/2.0.0.4 (Ubuntu-feisty) Build Identifier: version 2.0.0.0 (20070326) Adding an already added person by right clicking and "Add to Address Book", adds that e-mail address again instead of modifying an existing entry (with the EXACT same e-mail address). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open/preview a message. 2. Right click the sender name and click "Add to Address Book" 3. Close the address book and repeat step 2 as many times as you want Actual Results: You'll have a bunch of address book entries with the same name AND same e-mail address. With EXACT capitalization. Pointless. Expected Results: If e-mail address is the same as what already in the address book, an address book should be displayed to inform the user (to choose) whether he/she wants to modify/open the existing entry; or continue adding as new entry despite the duplication; or cancel.
Confirmed on Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9a7pre) Gecko/2007071503 Thunderbird/3.0a1pre ID:2007071503
