User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041217 Build Identifier: version 2.0.0.4 (20070604) Hi.. Sorry to bother you.. I am running thunderbird version 2.0.0.4 (20070604) under Mac OS X 10.4.10 on a G4 power book. I have also the same version of thunderbird running under Mac os X 10.4.9 on an Intel Imac. I CANNOT get the "send" operation under MS Word to open an email with an attachment. I can set thunderbird as the defualt mailer, but it does not work. I can, following the standard instructions, get apple Mail, MS Entourage and Eudora to do as requested, but NOT thunderbird. My 83 year old Mum relies on thunderbird and I'm reluctant to move her to Mail. (The address book import isn't perfect..). Could you please assist with this? Regards Assoc. Prof. Karl Reed Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.set the Defualt Mailer option under Mail Preferences 2.Open a word doc. 3.chosose "send to" from file menu 4. Mail recipient (As Attachment) is not avialble (I.E. greyed out) Actual Results: nothing happens Expected Results: A new email opened with the dcoument as an attachment Could be mail composer, or, the "hidden" preference file settings. I can't find a "normal" thunderbird prefernce that seems relevant.
