Spin-off, see bug 371609 comment 15: The latest color scheme still breaks the colors of the download manager. When selecting an active download and using the latest trunk build (OS X, PowerPC) the "cancel" and "pause" texts are hard to read.
These will be buttons with the UI rewrite fyi
Bug 260879 will turn those links into buttons.
