The hungarian dictionary is totally unusable, to be full of bugs.
Example words with bug: el megy, le néz, szét tép, ki szalad, etc.
Right example words   : elmegy,  lenéz,  széttép,  kiszalad, etc.

Unfortunately a Hunspell dictionary was packaged. Older spellchecking engine in  Firefox2/Thunderbird2 cannot use it properly. Situation will change soon, because Firefox3 will ha Hunspell built in.

I like and everday use Mozilla products in the last five years (both on Mac and PC). The Hungarian dictionary  is a ****. Is it not a Microsoft product?

For Firefox 3 beta: http://downloads.sourceforge.net/magyarispell/hungarian_dictionary-1.1.4-fx+zm+tb.xpi

I'd like to add these dictionaries to the Mozilla dictionary add-on page, but I have no upload access on https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/developers/add despite my registration on Mozilla Add-on site (See step 4 in http://wiki.mozilla.org/Update:Authors/Creating_a_Dictionary). Maybe need a developer account. András, could you help us?

Unfortunately the Thunderbird 2 no to accept the http://downloads.sourceforge.net/magyarispell/hungarian_dictionary-1.1.3.1-fx+zm+tb.xpi to install.

maxVersion should be 2.0.* not 2.0a1. Laci, please fix it.

I have updated the maxVersions of the Hungarian Add-on packages according to the https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/pages/appversions page. Hungarian Add-on 1.1.4 is compatible with Firefox 3 beta 3 and the version 1.1.3.1 with Thunderbird 2.0.0.*. Thanks, Laci

According to the Bug 412386, Hungarian Add-on of Firefox 2 has been fixed.
András, please close the issue or change the "unusable" to "update to the new Hungarian vocabulary" in the summary. (The "new" Add-on an old (but working) MySpell dictionary, and it would be fine to update its vocabulary.) Thanks, Laci

Auto update function of FF & TB updated dictionary to 1.1.3.1 which works well. Problem solved.
