When I click on a textbox in a dialog, say in preferences, any checkboxes on the dialog flash into focus.  I have witnessed this in two instances:

Scenario 1. Preferences>Composition>General
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to Preferences
2. Click on Composition
3. Click on General tab
4. Click on the textbox for Autosave

Actual Results:
Any unchecked checkboxes will "light up" while mouse button is pressed and go back to white when I release the mouse button.

Expected Results:
The check boxes should do nothing when I select a textbox.

Reproducible: Always

Scenario 2. Thunderbird profile manager

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Launch thunderbird with profile manager
2. Select a profile from the list other than one that is already highlighted

Actual Results:
Check boxes light up and stay lit until mouseovered

Expected Results:
Checkboxes should do nothing unless selected.

Reproducible: Always

This behaviour is only seen on Ubuntu.  I have not been able to reproduce behaviour on Mac OSX, WinXP or Windows Vista.

This was found using Thunderbird 1.5.0.13 Build ID 2007080917.

I have attached a screenshot of the "Preferences" scenario.

No, this appears to only affect 15013.

I just found this occurring on another dialog.  If you right click on a folder and select properties then go to the "retention policy" tab, clicking on a grayed out textbox makes the two unselected radio buttons flash.  Clicking on an active textbox makes just one of the unselected radio buttons flash.
