I set two pages as a hometab set, using Tools.. Options.. Main.. Startup.. Use current pages
When I navigate in one of the tabs and click home to return to my homepages, the inactive tab page is duplicated in a new page
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. set a hometab set
2. navigate away in one tab
3. click home
Actual Results:
I start Firefox and have [Tab1 HomePageA] [Tab2 HomePageB]
The tab duplication happens like this:
In [Tab1 HomePageA] I browse off to some other page.
Tabs now look like: [Tab1 OtherPage1] [Tab2 HomePageB]
I click the "home" button - a 3rd tab appears duplicating the content of the inactive tab:
Tabs now look like: [Tab1 HomePageA] [Tab2 HomePageB] [Tab3 HomePageB]
And it keeps happening...
I navigate to another page, this time in Tab2 :
[Tab1 HomePageA] [Tab2 OtherPage2] [Tab3 HomePageB]
and click 'home'...
[Tab1 HomePageA] [Tab2 HomePageA] [Tab3 HomePageB] [Tab4 HomePageB]
Expected Results:
When I have [Tab1 OtherPage1] [Tab2 HomePageB] displayed
Clicking 'home' should bring me back to the startup condition:
[Tab1 HomePageA] [Tab2 HomePageB]
This was a problem in early versions of Mozilla.
The problem was resolved when Mozilla (now SeaMonkey) included in
Edit.. Preferences.. Navigator.. Tabbed Browing..
When opening a bookmark group - "replace existing tabs" option.

I'd say this is a duplicate of Bug 426127 (Firefox 3 Tab Replace All Tabs Option Not Available)?
