Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-GB; rv:1.8.1.6) Gecko/20070725 Firefox/2.0.0.6 Build Identifier: 2.0.0.6 (20070728) Apparently the compose window on Thunderbird is not recognised by Vista's voice recognition application. With the cursor placed in the compose window the application attempts to interpret dictated text as commands. There is no problem with the Outlook Express compose window. There is a similar problem when attempting to dictate into text fields on web pages in Firefox. (This has been reported as a separate bug) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Place cursor in compose window. 2.Dictate. 3. Actual Results: No text appears in compose window. Expected Results: Print text in compose window.

It's not just a similar problem, it's almost certainly exactly the same problem, because they're both editor widgets underneath.
