I'm unable to untag messages using filters. I made a mistake with multiple tags and there is no way to untag them unless I do it manually. There is no option to untag messages using a filter.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Tag messages with any criteria using a filter
2. Try to untag them using a filter using the same criteria.
3. There is no option...
Expected Results:
There should be a "none" option in the tags list.

I just released on AMO the extension "FiltaQuilla" which adds (among other
things) a custom filter action to untag a message, as requested by
this bug.
See https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/10052
The tag action 'none' is ok if one needs to remove all tags from a message, but
isn't of any help if there is need to remove specific tags.
Since one has the option to add more than one tags to email, there should be a
filter action allowing specific tag removal. For example... find mail tagged as
'important' AND 'work' AND 'todo -> remove tag action that lets you choose
which tag to remove.
The FiltaQuilla extension does all this fine, but this should be implemented in
the core someday.

Actually - as of Thunderbird 45.1.1 I cannot find "none" in the list for the Tag message action. Was it ever there? Also with FiltaQuilla installed, there is only "Remove Tag" for individual tags, there is no "All" in the list.
So definitely would like to see a "none" option at the top of the tag actions list, that shouldn't be too hard to create?
