To reproduce with Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; fr; rv:1.9a9pre) Gecko/2007100304 Minefield/3.0a9pre : - Put the location bar on same line as the menu bar (like first screenshot) - Then visit http://www.htmlcodetutorial.com/linking/linking_famsupp_70.html and click this link - Look at the location and menu bar vibrate like there where in a ceasure ! Screenshot will follow.
The last screen shot does not show the vibration effect very well (it is not a video after all) but it does show the reduced space accorded to the location bar. Maybe related ?
OS: All → Windows Vista
Probably related to bug 398346...
Not sure what kind of a vibration effect you're seeing, but the reduced height / squished favicon regression range points to bug 396565.
Here is a video of the vibration http://fr.youtube.com/watch?v=q1y17iR2z3o . Please take that it vibrate's even faster then what is show.
Neil, any thoughts?
Same vibrations on Linux, this is independent of the windowmanager and shown with different themes. Latest nightly 2007101304.
Blocking on this, but I think another very good question is why we're showing the menubar in the popup window in the first place. I'll file a bug (and circle back to refer to it here) on that shortly ...
Flags: blocking-firefox3? → blocking-firefox3+
