Steps to Reproduce:
1.set the spam to trust any spam data base eg. spam assasin
2.run the filter
3.notink happens
Actual Results:  
the pam is not marked

Expected Results:  
cnage the mark

what version?
is this tools > run junk mail controls on folder?
what do you see in your error console (tools menu)?

using trunk build, I see

seems likely, but depends if Marcos responds to comment 1 and it is v2. (yet another example where guided bug entry falls short for thunderbird)

1. bug 381589 might be about multiple problems
2. bug 381589 comment 12 has a report of v1.5
