Recently ICANN has added eleven IDN TLDs (in Arabic, Chinese, Greek, Hebrew, etc) to the root servers, as listed in the URL (http://idn.icann.org/). They should be added to the whitelist, because they are for testing, as firefox should pass these tests. I hope we get it on the next update of both branch and trunk.
They already are present in the trunk : bug 397803.
