Details

Address bar ends up in a state where it ignores keyboard input. This affects an entire window, opening a new window allows keyboard input. When in this state one sees the text you enter however pressing enter will reload the current page. The text in the address bar reverts the current page. However the text you entered is displayed if you hover over the address bar, on any tab in the window. This affects the search bar as well, any search entered searches for google regardless of the search engine selected. I don't have steps to reproduce besides using minefield on Linux for any length of time. I run into this bug on about a daily basis using Linux. Have not seen this behavior on any recent Windows builds. Using the mouse to click into the address bar gives the following error. Error: uncaught exception: [Exception... "Component returned failure code: 0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE) [nsIDOMNSHTMLInputElement.setSelectionRange]" nsresult: "0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE)" location: "JS frame :: chrome://global/content/bindings/textbox.xml :: onxblmousedown :: line 184" data: no] Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9a9pre) Gecko/2007101804 Minefield/3.0a
