After performing the update and closing its tab I switch off the computer. After restarting the computer and Firefox I am asked if I want to restore the previous session. After confirming this the tabs are restored including the tab with the update announcement which I had closed before shutting down. What to do about this? Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
Just close the update tab(s) and close Firefox through File -> Exit.
